Anyone who quilts in Cape Vincent is invited to join the show by displaying items that they have made and/or by helping on the day of the show. This year’s show is dedicated to the memory of Verna Mason and the many ways that she advanced the art of quilting. Several of Verna’s quilts will be on display at the show.
We are asking that all bed, baby, and lap quilts have a 5 Inch sleeve attached to facilitate displaying the quilts. For those of you who would like help in equipping your quilt with a sleeve, the Cape Vincent Quilting Chix would be happy to assist you. They meet every Wednesday, from 9-4, at the Rec Center. You will need to bring your quilt, muslin material, needle, and thread.
This is not a judged show-the items are simply displayed to honor the art of quilting. beginner to expert-all are welcome to show the beauty of quilts and the talents of those who quilt in Cape Vincent.
