COMMUNITY MUSIC & ARTS FUND

Gifts support professional music events held in downtown Cape Vincent including the Concerts on the Green, the Riverside Music & Arts Festival, and the Stroll on Broadway. Gifts also fund programs including art classes for adults and children, plein air exhibits, quilt shows, and author presentations. Gifts to this fund are used to cover the costs of programs as needed. However, if desired, gifts can be restricted by the donor to support one or more of the events and programs.

THOUSAND ISLANDS INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE FUND

Gifts to this fund provide direct support to the annual piano competition held at Maple Grove in Cape Vincent. For the past 21 years, the CVAC has sponsored the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People. This cost-free event features talented pianists, ages 8 to 26 from all parts of the world.

CAPE VINCENT ARTS COUNCIL ENDOWMENT FUND

Gifts to this fund provide the CVAC with a stable source of income to support its arts programs and events in perpetuity. The CVAC established an endowment fund at the Northern New York Community Foundation (NNYCF) in December of 2024.

DR. WILLIAM JAMES GRANT FUND FOR CAPE VINCENT ARTS COUNCIL

Gifts to this fund are restricted to support the long-term viability of the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People. The Dr. William James Grant Trust established this fund at the Northern New York Community Foundation (NNYCF) in December of 2024.
