The Competition:

 

Pianists compete in two age groups:

Junior Division 

Minimum age: none

Maximum age: pianists not more than six months past high school graduation

Senior Division

Minimum: pianists more than six months past high school graduation

Maximum: pianists who are not yet age 26 by September 1st of the competition year

There will be three Rounds in the Competition.  The Junior Division will play first each day followed by the Senior Division.  The order of performers will change each day of the competition.  Contestants will be notified of these details prior to the competition.  Failure to appear at the specified times will eliminate contestants from the competition.

Round I - Friday, Sept. 8
Round II - Sat., Sept. 9
Round III - Sun., Sept. 10

General Information

Applications are being accepted starting April 1, 2023. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2023. The competition is limited to 14 contestants (possible exceptions decided by the Artistic Director and Competition Committee) and complete applications will be accepted in the order they are received.
