Applications are being accepted starting April 1, 2023. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2023. The competition is limited to 14 contestants (possible exceptions decided by the Artistic Director and Competition Committee) and complete applications will be accepted in the order they are received.

Application Information

PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE AN ACCEPTED PARTICIPANT UNTIL

ALL 6 APPLICATION COMPONENTS

HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. 

Application deadline: June 30, 2023


A completed application must include:

1. A completed entry form (see below)

2. Proof of age (Photocopy of birth certificate, passport, driver’s license, etc.)

3. Entry fee ($125.00) Should the piano competition be cancelled, all entry fees will be refunded. The last date for a refund due to your withdrawal is July 15, 2023.


Please send a check for $125 made out to CVAC-Piano. It will not be cashed until after July 15, 2023.

Those who live outside the U.S. A. may pay via PayPal. In the event we need to refund your money, the refund amount will be equivalent to the amount credited to the CVAC.

Should we have to cancel the competition all pianists will receive a refund.


A completed application must include:

4. A musical/personal biography (less than 200 words in word format written in the 3rd person) NO PDFs

5. Repertoire with timings (word format - Senior Repertoire sample - Junior Repertoire sample) No PDFs 


6. An email from your instructor acknowledging your participation sent to

chopin@capevincentartscouncil.org
